SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAM

 

“BRIGHTON” UP YOUR CHILD'S SUMMER WITH THE NBRA'S 

Full Day-Summer Day Camps or Half Day-Summer Camps! 

With the summer months fast approaching, keeping your little ones entertained in a safe,   educational and super fun environment, has never been easier! The New Brighton Club is offering Full Day, Summer Camps for children ages 6-10 years and Half Day Summer Camps for children ages 3-5 years (must be potty trained). These camps will run daily from 9am—4pm (full day) and 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm (half day), with each week focused around a different theme! Complimentary “before care” (8am-9am) and “after care” (4pm-5pm) is also available upon special request.

Directed by experienced child care leaders: creative snacks, outdoor activities, cooperative games, sports, crafts and special events designed for each theme will fill the days with everlasting memories for your child!

 The best news… there is no fear of cancellations, as no class is too small! Camps will run every day that they are offered. All that you need to do, is register your child early (as camps do fill up quickly), and send your child daily with peanut-free snacks and lunch! We will take care of the rest, making this your simple summer childcare and entertainment solution.

Registration opens February 14th for residents andFebruaryy 17th for non-residents   

  

2017 DATES & THEMES 

Week 1 (July 3rd to July 7th) Oh Canada Eh! 

Oh Canada! Travel from past to present exploring 150 years of our home and native land. Discover how diverse and unique Canada truly is while learning about the different characteristics of each province that make up this beautiful country.

Week 2 (July 10th to July 14th) Wild Wild West 

Yee Haw! Saddle up for a week of rootin tootin fun with bold adventures, chuck rides, horse wrangling and much more! Cowboys and Cowgirls will mosey into the Wild Wild West experiencing a stampeding good time.    

Week 3 (July 17th to July 21st) Art-imation! 

Unleash the imagination and connect to the creative side while being introduced to several forms of art. Campers will dive into a world they can explore and shape with their very own hands while discovering their inner artist.

Week 4 (July 24th to July 28th) Junior Olympians 

Calling all athletes, it’s time to go for the gold! Explore all a variety of sports both new and favorites while competing for the title of New Brighton’s Junior Olympian! 

Week 5 (July 31st to August 4th) Space Voyage 

Blast off into a galactic adventure exploring the mysteries of the cosmos. Learn about outer space while discovering what it’s like to live the life of an astronaut!

Week 6 (August 7th to August 11/4 day camp) Outdoor Explorer 

Connect with Mother Nature and the wilderness while taking on exciting activities and games designed to teach campers about the great outdoors, insects, camping skills and so much more! 

Week 7 (August 14th to August 18th) Science Central 

Discover your scientific side during a week filled with invention, and creativity! Conduct experiments and determine all the fun and exciting ways physics, biology, and chemistry shape the world around us.

Week 8 (August 21st to August 25th) Safari Adventure 

Get your tickets for a daring journey through the African Savannah! Take part in activities that will have you exploring with wild & exotic animals, experiencing the local cultures of Africa, and discovering natural wonders.  

Week 9 (August 28th to September 1st ) World Traveller  

Adventure awaits! Embark on a journey around the world discovering different cultures and traditions. Collect stamps on your passport and experience all the world has to offer. 

 

NBRA 2017 SUMMER DAY CAMP RATES 

 “Early Bird" Rate (February 14th - March 31st, 2017)

  Residents: $160 (Full Days)        Non‐Residents: ($170 Full Days) 

  Residents: $70 (Half Days)         Non-Residents: $80 (Half Days) 

 “Ahead of the Game” Rate (April 1st - May 15th, 2017)

  Residents: $180 (Full Days)        Non‐Residents: $190 (Full Days) 

  Residents: $80 (Half Days)         Non-Residents: $90 (Half Days) 

 “There's Still Time" Rate (May 16th, 2017 and Ownward)

  Residents: $200 (Full Days)       Non‐Residents: $210 (Full Days) 

  Residents: $90 (Half Days)        Non-Residents: $100 (Half Days)   

*Week 5 prices are $30 less, for full days and $15 less, for half days (respectively for each rate), as it is only a 4 day camp, due to Stat holidays.* 

**Full day options are available for 3-5 years, costs will be the same as our full day camps** 

Payment plans are available for individuals wishing to register one or more children for more than 1 week of the program.

SUMMER DAY CANCELLATION POLICY  

Due to the preparations and supplies required for this program, participants wishing to withdraw from a Summer Day Camp Program must do so in writing at least 2 weeks prior (to the registered camp start date) to receive a full refund.  No refunds will be issued for those individuals who are withdrawing for the Summer Day Camp Program with less than 2 weeks’ notice.  

*All NSF cheques will receive a $50.00 penalty.

The New Brighton Club organizes several summer camps and we are always looking for great individuals to come out and get involved.
