Splash Park Closure

Hello New Brighton, Due to the water main break in the Bowness area as reported by the City of Calgary, multiple emergency water restrictions have been put in place. The New Brighton Residents Association did not complete our turning on of our Splash Park this morning, and it has been decided to keep the NBRA Splash Park off until further notice. Thank you for your understanding in these matters.

New Brighton Lemonade Stand

The New Brighton Community Association and New Brighton Residents Association joined forces for the 2024 year to secure funds from the Activate YYC Grant to bring the community a unique idea to keep residents engaged! It is our pleasure to reveal that New Brighton has been successful in receiving funds for a community lemonade and hot chocolate stand! Commencing June 17, 2024, this stand can be borrowed by young community residents to host their own entrepreneurial ventures… all they need to provide are the disposables and beverages! The NBCA & NBRA will also be happy to promote the date, time, and location that children will be hosting the stand on our community social media sites! Additional details are provided in the image below. If you have additional questions, please call our Customer Service Team at 403-781-6613.  The NBRA will be taking reservations for the stand beginning June 1, 2024!

Every Kid Can Play Program

Great news New Brighton! For the 2024 year, the NBRA was lucky to receive funding from the Every Kid Can Play Program! The EKCP Fund exists to ensure equal opportunity for children across the Province to participate in sport programming. Funding from this program offsets operational expenses for these programs, enabling us to reduce registration fees by $40/program for the Summer, Fall and Winter Sessions! Summer program registration opens at 9am on May 16th, so make sure to check out www.newbrighton-connect.com for all the great programs on offer, now available at a lower price thanks to the EKCP Fund.

Updated Stat. Holiday Hours

To ensure the best use of NBRA resources, the NBRA Clubhouse and Park will have reduced hours on all recognized Stat Holidays.  Commencing with Victoria Day, May 20, 2024 the NBRA will be open from 11am-6pm.  These hours will be in effect for all Stat Holidays moving forward. Thank you for your understanding, and the team looks forward to serving you during these special hours.  If you have any questions, please call 403-781-6613, and we will be happy to assist.
